Many people assume solar panels will be on the roof - but our roof will not support solar panels.  Also, it becomes a hassle when you need to replace the roof, so there are some perks for the panels being on the ground.  Of course, that means the solar panels will take up more land space.  I am excited about this because this aligns with our values that our land and property is meant to be used to bless the world.  And these solar panels will reflect back to our community our values and care for the earth.  I am deeply proud of this accomplishment and how as a church we are constantly striving to use what we have been given to bless the world.
