As Christianity has opened itself to the witness of LGBTQIA+ people, a new theology has emerged from the lived experience of Queer people. It is a theology both old and new, finding liberation in ancient texts and modern struggle. It is a theology that calls for the whole church to transform in body, mind, and soul. It is a theology actively being constructed through passionate dialogue. It's also a theology that is just a lot of fun!

Our special guest speaker is Bergen Eickhoff (they/them).  They are a local Queer Lutheran pastor who finds joyous liberation through Queering Theology. They have taught various introductory classes on Queer Theology across the South Sound, and led a Queer Theology discussion group in Olympia. They are excited to present an introduction to the wonderful world of Queer identities, and the theology that the Spirit awakens from these identities!
