Book Study: Song in a Weary Throat by Pauli Murray

Lent is all about returning to God and finding ourselves changed.

We will use this book and Pauli Murray's life to reflect on what our own Theory of Change is at St. Columba's.

Murray's whole life was answering the question of how do we create change, what motivates us to work towards change, and where do we find hope.

There will be a few ways to participate during Lent- Every other Wednesday evenings after Eucharist or every other Sundays at 10am during Lent.  You can choose from week to week if you want to join the Wednesday evening time or the Sunday morning time.  During Lent the Wednesday evening conversation will include soup!

Warning it is a long read!  It is both understandable if you cannot ready every page and if you might want to start early. I look forward to dipping into this rich life that has so much to offer us today.
