Mary H McClellan-Aronen has reached out to me from Good Shepherd asking if anyone at St. C's would be interested in taking a course called Sacred Ground.  She used to attend St. Columba's so some of you may know her.  This is an Episcopal Church offering with curriculum and videos about the history of racism in our country and how our faith calls us to respond.  I am trying to get a feel for if people at St. C's would want join this course.  

The group would meet every other week for 2hrs from Sept.-March.  There is about 2hrs of homework in between sessions, that is mostly watching engaging videos, but some articles and two books (Waking Up White, And Finding Myself in the Story of Race by Debby Irving & Jesus and the Disinherited by Howard Thurman) as well.

The group would decide if it would be on zoom or in person.
