This will be a relaxed time together at Bayne Cottage on the Hood Canal (7501 WA-106, Union, WA 98592).  The focus of our time will be inspired by the books A Psalm for the Wild-Built and A Prayer for the Crown-Shy by Becky Chambers. These books will assist us as we wonder how to build a new world, use technology ethically, and make time to slow down and hear one another's stories.  

There will be some carved out intentional time together, but everything is optional.  If you need a chill weekend with some alone time, you are free to take it during the more structured time.  

You can stay the whole weekend, stay for one night, OR come just for the day.  Let Meghan (vicar@stcolumbakent.org) know if you are interested or have any questions. 

You do not have to read the books in order to fully participate in our time together. Cost will vary depending on how many people sign up.  It is a relatively low cost retreat.  If cost is an issue the church can cover your fee.  Cost should not be a reason to not attend!
